Conservatory Cost – How Much is a Conservatory on the Isle of Man?

Many things effect the cost of your new conservatory. The 3 that have most bearing on the cost are the type of ground we are digging into, the ease of access we have and finally, is their any existing drainage that we will need to move?

The below example prices assume we have decent access, we are not digging into a raised back garden and there are no drains or inspection chambers that require moving.

The prices shown are for a white uPVC Edwardian conservatory at the most popular size of just under 15 square metres (any bigger requires planning approval on the Isle of Man).

Prices shown include VAT, all walls plastered, ceiling plastered if having a solid roof, a pair of double sockets and lighting.

We do not include floor covering because the cost of materials vary so much and often the client wants to carpet the room anyway. We offer a tiling and laminate flooring service which does not include the cost of the flooring.

Popular upgrades include:

  • underfloor heating which would add approximately £1470 to either of the above conservatories
  • Floor tiling – Prices start at £30 per square metre including adhesive but not including the tiles
  • Laminate flooring – £20 per square metre not including the flooring and underlay
  • A splash of colour – Frames with an external colour such as Anthracite grey or Rosewood would add a further £1680

Frames

We only use ‘A’ rated Rehau frames for our upvc conservatories. Rehau are considered the best performing profile in Europe and can be  made in any RAL colour.

Glass

All the windows are made with toughened e-glass with an Argon filled 20mm cavity.

Roof

We offer 2 roof options for our upvc conservatories. Activ Blue self cleaning for those who want a glass roof and for those requiring a solid roof we use the Leka roof system finished with the Metrotile lightweight roof tiles and plastered internally.
